Events and Courses

TAPMS is committed to integrating mindfulness education into the social-emotional curriculum of Taiwanese schools, addressing the current challenge where most courses remain subject-based and lack a clear focus. By incorporating mindfulness elements into the curriculum structure, it becomes possible to achieve balance in areas such as social skills, self-awareness, and self-discipline.

We utilize two course modules—Paws b and .b—developed by the UK charity Mindfulness in Schools Project (MiSP). The former is designed for children aged 7 to 11, while the latter targets adolescents aged 11 to 18, helping teachers systematically implement mindfulness instruction on campus.

"Mindfulness – Finding Peace in a Frantic World" (M-FP)
Developed by the Oxford Mindfulness Foundation in the UK, this course is particularly well-suited for busy professionals such as teachers. It is adapted from the standard eight-week mindfulness curriculum (e.g., MBSR, MBCT) into a lighter version of 1.5-hour weekly sessions, enabling those with packed schedules to systematically learn and experience mindfulness within a limited time frame. As a result, participants often find greater mental calm and sharper focus. This makes M-FP an excellent entry point for anyone wishing to understand, experience, and practice mindfulness.
